hello fellow mercedes enthusiasts! I am doing some work on my fathers clk320 and am currently trying to diagnose what hose i need to replace but am having very minimal luck. i have been to the dealership and they were not sure in the parts department and as usual they were trying to get me to take the car in to the service department to diagnose a simple leak in a hose.
i am hoping with everything i have that someone on the forum here will know the answer to this issue (what in the heck does this darn hose go to).
the hose is located directly behind the driver side headlight, it appears to come from over by the strut on the same side of the vehicle, then runs across towards the engine, then the rubber hose drops down from there and connects to a metal hose that that runs downward for a few inches and then leads into a connection piece that also connects with a metal hose from the bottom corner of the radiator and one other hose that runs back towards the firewall and angles slightly towards the engine.
the pictures included were taken from directly behind the driver side headlight an include two perspectives. one picture is snapped from directly above, two pictures are snapped from down in the engine bay facing more towards the front of the vehicle.
thank you to anyone who reads, and especially to those who reply
