clk 320 engine sump remove
Has anybody dune this as I have a small leak just where the oil sender is it looks like the sump seal has gone it's not much but would like to remove and reseal it

Not sure, but I know some that either need the engine removed or the front suspension dropped to be able to remove the whole oil pan assembly. Yeah it can be lowered but you will not be able to remove some of them because the oil pickup sticks down and prevents it and some times theres an extra bulge that stops removal etc.
And you need to completely remove it to be able to do a good cleaning of engine and pan.

Only rear wheel drive. it's sorted now as you can remove the sump pan without doing anything else, the sender has to be removed with the sump pan off, as the bolts are inside just a new o ring needed.
