Some idiot was next to me on Jamboree (a large boulevard in Orange County) in a gold G35 Rental Sedan from an Infiniti dealer.

So we are rollin' down the street in the early afternoon on a Monday, and all of a sudden he floors it and races to the red light in front of us.

I didn't even notice his sorry car before, but his smiling and glances really began to irritate me. So we are now side by side at the light and I shut off my ESP and put it in "1".

The light turns green and I hit it and take off with a 1.5 car lead. (I am not sure how much slower the sedans are compared to the coupes, but who cares). At 35 mph (2nd gear) he cuts the lead to .5 a car but by 60mph, I pulled on him and the race was over.

I looked at him (he was on my left) and started talkin' some major trash.

Some people only have the ***** to street race when they are in a loaner car from the dealer. It has been many years since I have been engaged from an idiot to race on a Mondya afternoon. It was my first experience racing against a G35 and a successful one at that.

Sedan and coupe are two different animals...

Sedan = slow
Couple = fast

sedan has 20 less hp and more weight. longer drive shaft(less power to the wheel)

Lou, thats cause its still a german automobile, a fine one at that. The G is Japanese, reminds me more of that fast and the futile. i mean crotch rockets, I mean rice burners. Ok I'll stop now..
