Looking into purchasing 2000 CLK-320
All, I am looking into purchasing 2000 CLK-320.
VIN WDBLK65G8YT052369.
Please can some help me to see if this is good car. The Seller is private party and does not have Car Fax on it. If any one have access to Car Fax, please can you help me.
Also, the car has 50000 miles, which is low and kind of little worry if this is true mileage.
What issues are with 2000 CLK-320.
I have own 3 of W210 (E-420, E-320 and E-430) so I know the engine and transmission etc. Is 2000 CLK-320 is similar to E class W210?
Thanks in advance for your support.

W208 CLK320
things to check
1. conductor plate
2. ac vent check for proper air flow
3. rear sunshade (if yours has it)
4. pixels on speedo are (probably) going out
5. valve cover leaks
6. make sure your coolant hoses are not leaking (if they are original)
7. any fluid leaks from the conv. top

The W208 chassis is actually pretty solid, I can count in one hand how many times the car has been to the stealership for in-depth issues. Other than regular maintenance on it and oil changes the car has held its own for 16 years and still going strong. Either it was made well or I got lucky. Bought it with about the same mileage as the car you're looking at mine had 53k and now reads 175k of miles of smiles on the odometer.
