Check Engine light
Greetings All,
After driving today for about one hour with a little manual shifting (city driving and changing lanes : )=
I had a Check engine light come on. Of course at this time with a very sad look on my face call the local dealership for an appointment tomorrow. I reviewed the car’s owner manual for possible clues; however, there was nothing I could resolve myself.
Has this happen to anything else? I checked the gas cap it was not loose.
P.S I have one door speaker that's is not working but that should not be the problem.
Thanks
NDJ

I had that happen to me about 1 month ago.
Apparently this is common. At least that is what my tech says.

Okay thanks for the info.
If this is common with OEM what will happen with aftermarket air intake systems as a mod?

more than likely it is a faulty oxygen sensor that is causing the check engine light to come on....i had the same experience a while ago when i was driving a little aggressively on the road....damn thing came on and i thought i broke the car...anyways it's a quick fix at the dealer...they plug their diagnostic computer into your car and then say its an O2 thing and replace in a few minutes....

I'm back from the service center.
The follow items needed to be replace.
Fuel shutoff value
Evaporative purge value (Front)
Thanks for all your ideas and support
I guess the MAF is next
