Hoping someone can help with my problem.

I have a 2001 CLK430 and recently it has started hesitating when you go to pull away from standstill.

I am aware of the “fly by wire” delay but this is something that has only just started to happen.

When you go to pull away the revs drop for about half a second and the car feels like it is going to stall it then picks up and drives as normal.

I have searched but most hesitation is either fly by wire, during acceleration or when changing gear not JUST from standstill.

I have changed the MAF and it is still happening.

Any advice would be appreciated.
