Thumbs up A new mod

Met up with the Euro Pimp today and picked up my new mod.

I don't smoke, so the Euro Spec Ashtray Delete seemed like a no brainer. I don't know why MB doesn't offer this as a US option.

Many thanks to Steve and Dean (aka scorchie) for help installing what I think is one of my favorite little mods. Also thanks Dean for your help with my in progress iPod mount :0)

Closed - it just looks like a normal ashtray cover:

Open - more storage space and a nice covered power outlet:

Nice!! I love it! How much did it cost, how hard to install, and where can I get that?

That's a cool mod! Steve, can you do that for me too when you visit Las Vegas to install the COMAND?

I had my ashtray removed also and they put an XM "roadie" and the control display for my remote Passport SR-7 radar detector. They both fit perfect!
Also, so I would have additional cigarette lighter outlets for electronics, they put two of then in the panel above the passengers feet with rubber covers. Concealed and out of the way until needed.

Looks good Josh!
