I was wondering if i got the complete v60 system from a 2003 clk would it fully integrate into my system and if so how much would it cost to install and any recommended people to do the installation. thx for the help. By the way the 430 is the best car i have ever had I love it so far !!!!!

You'll have to go to the dealer for the phone and install. There is a special chip in the phone that allows interaction with the MB system.. I believe it is about 1400, but you have the basics, so it may be a lot cheaper.

Should all be fibre optics. You should be able to just unplug the one, and plug in the other...

The brain is in the trunk, and I believe that there is a junction box under the steering column..

Doesn't Steve do that mod? Maybe he'll give, or sell, you instructions on how to do it. I don't have his contact info but most on here do. My computer crashed so I lost it.

If it is from a 2003 W209... the antenna connectors are different. The brain would work, the handset would work, the compensator and connectors would need some work.

If it is from a 2003 W208... it would still be different, because the W208 coupe has three phone antennas, and the 2003 W208 (must be a cabriolet) has only two antennas... so the cab uses an antenna switch, and the coupe does not. So then again, the connectors would be different.

You can do it all, it just won't be plug and play like you want.

For the phone, the PSE (or "brain") goes behind the left trunk panel; the compensator also goes behind the left trunk panel; the handset goes in the center console; the fibre optic wiring is under the panel on the floor of the trunk between the rear wheel wells, or it might be under the right C pillar.

Nothing that I know of under the steering column for the phone. Actually, nothing I know of at all under the steering column, except maybe an OBD connector off to the side mounted to the trim plate.

First of all, you never told us if you have a coupe or a cabriolet. So all of this posting doesn't really matter.

The mounting bracket definitely will not fit.
