1998 c280 DD, 2002 clk430 Hoon car.

Charged and tested the battery so far, seems good. Dash lights up all seems good but starter just clunks once then nothing. Thinking of jumping the relay first then will check the starter supply wire and swap the starter out of the 280 into the 430 and see if that will fix the problem. Any suggestions?
Previous owner changed the crank sensor and had the computer out and tried a different computer, which anyone who has read anything about the turn of the century MB's knows wont work. Still going to focus on the starter, if no joy there am going to have a look at the motor next.

Time for an update. Swapped my starter relay for a good one and got multiple clunks instead of just one.. Battery voltage was at 12.4 (at the engine pin.) when I load tested it after charging it seemed fairly robust. Might just swap those starters out in the morning and see what happens. It wants to turn over, but it wont spin.
