Clk320 2002 W208 convertible top and trunk won’t open
Hi everyone, I just brought a CLK320 2002 W208 the car is in really good running conditions but the convertible top and trunk won’t open, I can open he trunk manually but not with the key or inside .. I can hear the hydrolic pump but top don’t open ..please can someone help me thank you

Diego....welcome to the forum.
To prevent the possibility of a collision between the trunk lid and the lid of the soft-top compartment, the power roof system has a built in safety interlock.
Specifically; If the power roof controller thinks that the trunk lid is unlocked and/or open, the soft top cannot be operated and likewise, if the power roof controller notifies the central locking system that the roof is not fully up or down and properly locked, the trunk can only be manually, opened using the mechanical key.
That said, the lamp in the power roof's main operating switch has some built in diagnostic information (see enclosed).
What is the status of the lamp in your power roof soft top switch?
