**help** Need Comand Installation Instructions
I purchased the Comand from Steve for my 01 CLK 430 but there is no installation instructions in the package. Steve, or any one else, please help with installation instructions ASAP. My e-mail address is magiccorner@yahoo.com.
BTW: Do I need mounting brackets? Steve did not send me any.

Are you talking about the brackets mounted on the side of the COMAND? They should be attatched.
You don't need mounting brackets that attatch to the car itself, you just need to cut out the center piece in your existing bracket that separates the two DIN spaces.

Yeah, like Josh said... the brackets should be attached to the side of the COMAND already.

Steve usually includes some install tips with the shipment, but the following directions will probably get you what you need:

The hardest part is cutting out the middle din slot and tapping into the speed sensor wire. I provided some directions on this a few weeks ago:
