W208 CLK 2000 RHD Fuel Filter Hoses
Hi,
Has anyone got access to technical drawings for the fuel filter and hoses for a CLK W208 2000 RHD? I have a leak from one of them and would like to identify and replace it.
Many thanks
Ed

I'm a little unsure as what fuel filter system I have on my CLK if anyone could help further?
The fuel filter under my car has 1 hose connection each side of the filter, and all online reference to my car drawings/videos including the posted diagrams have 2 hoses each end.
ie...
If I do an online search for a replacement fuel filter I get supplied a unit with 1 hose each side, the same as under my car. If I search for technical drawings or instruction videos etc for my model they all have 2 hoses each side of the filter.
Thanks for any help.

The CLK 230 used either a 2 port or 4 port fuel filter, depending on on the date it was manufactured,
Specifically:
- Up to May 2000, the 2 port filter was factory installed
- From June 2000, the 4 port filter was factory installed
To meet air quality regulations, the 4 port filters also include an integrated pressure regulator, where the 2 additional lines are returns, back to the fuel tank and charcoal canister.
According to the above VIN data card, your MY 2000 CLK230 was delivered in the UK, on March 31, 2000 and was equipped with the 2 port filter.
The following link shows both filters sold in the UK. Note that the correct one, depends on the date of manufacture.

PS: Not only is the 2 port filter much easier to install, but the newer evaporative fuel systems are much more complex and expensive to diagnose and repair.
