Lorinser CLK is his user name. He lives in Florida. Kudos to him for doing the leg work to get his MH-Dezent hood and grill.

That is phenomenal. I live in Fl also- if you don't mind me asking, where did you have your work done? Would you recommend them? Any input would be great. You did an amazing job with your Clk- absolutely fantastic specimen!!!!!

The work was done at B&R auto in Pompano Beach. They did great work and are highly recommended. It's a CLK430 and yes the hood had to be painted. This isn't the factory hood, it's a fiberglass hood made by MH-Dezent.

In order to put on the CL style grill, you must change the hood also. Other than that, the only other advantage is that the fiberglass hood is a lot lighter than the factory hood.

I'm waiting for mine to come through Evosport. I haven't decided on the CL or SL grill yet. Looks tight. I'm looking to shed about 250 lbs off my car too, so 50lbs off the hood isn't a bad start.

Yeah, the more I looked at the Shatz grill, the less I liked it... IMO it's just too small relative to the size of the headlights. I'm supposed to send it to someone but I can't remember who... hmm.
