Interior leather trim came off
So, I was driving down the road the other day and this piece of leather trim came loose and flew in to the front seat. The black piece under the leather is in rough shape. Any ideas on repairs? Thanks!

Scrape off the black goo and clean with acetone. The underlying plastic has the same grain and color as the leather, so no need to re-glue the leather piece back on. It will look good as is. Look toward the end of this post.
