Used to be a CLK430
Well it's been a week and I haven't received even one phone call or email. It is listed here, Roadfly, and it went in the Houston Chronicle (biggest local paper here) on Tuesday. I am going to put a sign on it today.
Is my price too high? What do you think the best way to sell it is? I have already found a CLK55 I want at a good price, so I'm getting anxious! Any suggestions?

I am sorry to say, I think you are too high. The resale market is pretty soft right now. I have seen 2001 CLKs 430 priced below $30K with less miles than yours.

It's only been a week so just give it some time and I'm sure you'll find a buyer. I don't think your pricing is too high, in L.A. that is about the price a similar car would be priced at, if not higher (and the supply of CLK's in L.A. is probably a lot higher than in Texas).
Don't settle for too much less unless you just want to make a quick sale.

From my research your price is perfectly fine. Go to edmunds.com/nada.com and even kbb.com.....
You are going to sell your car for wholesale. People sometimes think just because you list your car online, it automatically should be cheaper.

Hey nickv,
May I ask what you found for a CLK55? I too am selling my CLK430 for a 55. Just curious what you have found. I have seen several in the Chicago area but they moved pretty quickly. The lower mileage ones anyways.
Good luck in your search and the sale of your car!

Very nice nick! What color and options? The selection is sparse around here to say the least, so I have been looking nationally on Autotrader/eBay and what not.
Did you purchase it yet? I am very interested to hear your review after coming out of a 430! Will you do any modifications?
