CLK 430 2001
Clean the GLUE

Any one knows how can I clean the glue on my trunk? I took the CLK 430 emblem out, but I cant clean that glue?
any idea?

In the market
Goo'f off! You can get it at most auto part stores...probably even wal-mart. Will take off most any adheisive crap and won't harm your paint

Just use your finger nail and rub or gently scratch it off with it. Some of those chemicals might damage the paint and/or clearcoat.

Well, the easiest way to take the badges off and extra glue is with a blow dryer. But since you have extra glue....how did you take the badges off. To get the extra glue off, take a blow dryer and hold it on the glue and start rubbing it off with a towel. its gonna be hot to your fingers but it works perfect.

Maybe he took it off with nylon strings or stuffs like that, and that's why there's glue left on the trunk.
Glue can be taken off by heat, so like deuce said, take a hair dryer and it should go off easily.
