Friendly Wave?
I was just wondering if CLK owners give the friendly 4 fingers wave when we see each other on a street? I used to own a Corvette. As a previouse Corvette owner, we always give each other the friendly 4 fingers on the steering wheel wave. I notice that when I passed my fellow CLK owner he/she just stick there nose in the air as if they were too important to do that wave. How sad..........and I thought CLK owners are close like the Corvette people. If us CLK owner don't do that we better start. Were a TEAM.

Lol, in LA (Beverly Hills especially), your fingers would get a hell of a workout

I always shoot a look at other CLK drivers, but they almost never see me

when i was going through my audi phase i felt that there was a real esprit de corps with other owners. i always gave the wave or headlight flash and usually received. there's a pretty big cult following of the old a4, hard to see something like that developing with mercs except maybe the c-coupe.

Lol, on that note I've noticed a lot of Audi owners are passionate Benz haters! I was actually nearly run off the freeway by a maniac in an older Audi sedan who was waving an old racing magazine at me with the cover "AUDI DEFEATS MERCEDES AT LE MANS." Pretty scary experience. I've also been challenged to streetlight races by about a million Audis, all with rabid Audi-phile drivers. As a former Audi owner, do you know anything about this? It makes no sense to me, just thought I'd bring it up .

I always nod at Benz owners....and they almost always nod back....if not first.
The nod is usually accompanied by a mutual grin.
It's fun actually...and my girlfriend wrinkles up her nose everytime she see's it.
She says we're snobs.
Then again...she's always ready to go for a spin and be seen in it !!

i always try to wave at clk owners and pretty much any 55 owner....but never get a reply at all...except once on the 605 south bound....that's about it....yesterday....i was on the 110 and i give this old guy in a black viper the thumbs up and he just proceeds to pass me as if i had given him the finger or something.....don't know what's wrong with these people.....
