Hello Guys,

New to the forum and new to being a Merc owner.
I recently bought a 2001 CLK 320 Elegance. I got a bit of a discount as the displays for the temperature and clock/drive selection indicator are not working properly.
The displays have power but some segments are not active.
I am suspecting a loose cable, but before I rip into the unit I want to see if anyone has seen this before.

someone posted a fix involving putting some material for added pressure on the display cable ribbons. Here is the file

Be extremely careful though, it is a very delicate process and could end up messing up the cluster if something breaks

I am struggling to search the forum, thats why I posted a new thread.
Even though I can see the word cluster in the title of a post I search and it tells me no posts available. I am pretty IT savvy too.

Can someone link me to a post on how to remove the cluster
