CLK radio wiring question

Does anyone know what the green with red wire (it may be green and violet) is and where it connects to the radio? It is a '02 CLK55 which came with the Audio 30 with Bose & CD changer. When I got it it had an Alpine Head unit, I replaced it with a Continental. Both worked okay but I like the original look. I found an Audio 10 with BT/hands free and while most of the car's stock wiring is untouched there is the green and red wire floating around in there. I have looked at a lot of wiring diagrams but nothing is showing this wire. The loose end has a female pin out connection so I know it goes into one of the plugs.
Note -there is a green and red wire among the speaker wiring, the one I am wondering about is not a speaker wire.
