CLK430 and services
I bought the car used with 29k miles a few months ago and according to the records the previous owner did 1 service at 13k miles and another one at 24k miles. Is that enough? I checked my oil and it looks black but the next service according to my car should be in the next 3500 miles. Is that a Mercedes policy that you have to change oil every 10000 miles when you are under warranty? What is the difference between Service A and B? Thanks for any reply...

I just had my A service done and my B is showing due in 10k miles. I would also like to know exactly what is done at each service. I do know they go over things as they replaced a rear diff seal on mine at no charge. I had new window regulators, a new pass seat adjuster, and they checked my insrument cluster at my request for no charge. The only thing I was charged for were new front pads and rotors which came to $600.

So unsung you have to pay for the rotors enen if you are under warranty? That confuses me. The only cars I had under warranty here in US were Ford cars and they would change everything no charge.. Why should I pay for parts? What's the meaning of warranty then? Do I miss something?

I was just shy of 40k miles at which point brakes are not under warranty. In fact I don't think the mileage matters unless it was very low. Maybe someone knows if there is maybe a 10k or 12k cutoff for a brake warranty?
Either way my brakes still make a sound even when not applied while driving. I'm probably going to have to take it back again.
