in-dash CD player
My needs are very simple--I want an CD player in-dash in my CLK. It doesn't need to be anything extravagant. I don't use the phone option, and I have a 99, so I'm not worried about steering wheel controls. I just want something in-dash without any damage to the dash or having to replace the whole system with something that isn't optic. Has anyone found something that fits the bill? I just saw a commercial for a Ford Focus last night and they come with a 3 CD changer in dash! I can't even get 1! I absolutely love the car other than this and the ugly wheels. Please help.

im not sure how easy it is to integrate a stand alone single cd unit to your 99 clk. it might just be easier to purchase an aftermarket alpine 6 disc changer that is compatible with the stock clk system as the stock head unit has the cd changer control function built in.

Try the BLAUPUNKT DJ packages like the ARIZONA DJ or the IDC A09 unit. It's a 5 disc changer that slots right underneath your radio unit. I can send you some info if you would like. I distribute this brand exclusively here and i can forward you some pics.. otherwise just go to their website!
