Mercedes 320 CLK Elegance Cabriolet

Hi, I am a new member and recently purchased a Merc 320 CLK Elegance W208 Cabriolet. I am having to replace the Hydraulic roof control but I am also experiencing problems with the Sony Radio. It plays CD's no problem but just 'crackles' on the radio stations. It sounds like an aerial problem. Any suggestions please?
