Finally Obtained a 2002 CLK 320
Hey Guys and Gals, as the title states I'm now a proud owner of a 2002 CLK 320!!!! I've been waiting quite a while for this and finally pulled the trigger on Friday. It has 68K miles on it and I picked it up for $3000. I'm currently on temporary plate stickers but should be getting the safety done on Monday. Everything works in the car in terms of electronic locks, windows, sunroof etc and there's barely any visible rust on the body.
I took it for a rather long drive yesterday and man she's an amazing drive even at that age. There are two issues with the car though:
1) Before I bought it somebody backed up into the bumper and cracked the front a bit (this did affect the price and not a huge deal for me)
2) Randomly, when I shut the driver's door (maybe passenger as well) the trunk boot lid will pop open. I try closing it and it takes a while before it latches and decides to stay down (I'll open another thread for this though)
All in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase and can't wait to get it tinted / lowered and rims installed but that may not be till next summer. I will post pictures later today.

Welcome, and congrats on your purchase. The bumper is definitely fixable, or check on eBay for a replacement or even your local boneyard.
The interior is clean as a whistle, however the wheels seem like they are off of a C class, but as you stated your swapping them out.
Can't Wait to see the end result when she's upgraded! Here's a site to help w/sizing up your diameter of wheels.

thanks alot guys I'm pretty excited myself. It's been a long time I've been longing for the w208 and having it now is surreal. People around me are amazed I'm so happy about such an old car but I don't care in the slightest!
