DOHC SLK 350 Heads on a w208 clk320?

Does anyone here think it would be possible to place cylinder heads from the new DOHC 4 Valve engine from the SLK 350 into the old 3.2L 3 valve engine similar to the way corvette people can do that with the ls1 and ls6 heads?

If so, what modifications would be neccessary and what performance gains could we expect?

Evosport or Sleestack maybe you could help us out on this one?

the ls1 and ls6 has the same diplacement so im thinking you can retrofit newer heads since every cylinder is same geometry (i think). but i think 3.5L is bored out so the compression will probably have difference? maybe if u do a 3.5L stroker kit and the head will work.

what about an engine swap?

What about an engine swap with the new engine? Even though I am getting the g35 by the end of the year I am keeping this car as a project car cause its worth basically nothing anyway.

And judging by the new SLK engine note I would love this engine. Plus, eventually when I have enough money to supercharge it would make a better starting point.

Do you think the engine would mount up to the tranny and current mounts or a good deal of work would be needed?

swaping engine is alot of work. especially the electronics part. but if you have the money and the patients then go for it. but if u are swappin new engine why not swap the new 500 engine or S/E/SL/CL class 55 engines? all those work for 50hp gain over your 320 is not worth it in my opinion. you are better off with kleeman superchager ur 320.

question

my engine has about 100,000 miles on it. Would the Kleeman charger blow it up at this point?

do a compression check, if it's over stock (most likely, cause by carbon build up). then you can probably try some of those engine cleaning stuff you can buy from auto zone or something. Im not sure if they work or not. then test your compression again see if it get better. lower your compression better it is for supercharger. or get it dynoed and if it still pull strong then I say go for it if u got the bling.
