Help finding part number for seal
New to the the forums.
Been around for a while and have owned C300 and B200 in the past.
Now we have a 2018 GLC300 and i just purchased a 2002 W208 CLK320 convertible.
I have pretty much been checking for the last 2 days to figure out the part number for the drivers side seal that covers the bottom portion of the quarter window seal part #2086700139.
Sorry don't have picture of the actual car since its pissing rain in Vancouver at the moment, so i am using a photo from online.
The photo below shows circled in red which part # i need.
Any insight on how to remove/replace it would be appreciated as well.
Thanks,
Jan

As shown below, it attaches to the front edge of the rear window glass, when then provides the weather seal, between the front and rear window glass.

Sorry, i may have worded it incorrectly.
I already installed part 2086700139, which is the quarter window seal as you indicated.
But the part i circled in red also needs to be replaced.
The quarter window seal is supposed to be partially covered by the part i need.
The one currently installed is broken so when i close the drivers side window all the way down its fine, but when i put the window back up, it snags on the quarter window seal.
Thanks,
Jan

Alternatively, if you have a pick and pull salvage yard in your area, you should be able to get that seal for short money.
The replacement window seal you already replaced runs around $100 each and have been a fairly common problem on the A208 cabriolets.
FWIW, I've been using Gummi Pflege rubber treatment to prevent the rubber weather seals from drying out and cracking.

I checked all the local salvage yards in my area with no luck.
I have scoured ecstuning, autozone, ebay and other MB online parts stores with no luck as well.
We don't have gummi Pflege locally but i bought a product called dunlop rubber saver.
When i bought the car, it had the missing quarter window rubber and was leaking water from the weatherstrip on the passenger side.
After i used the rubber saver it stopped leaking but it does leave a greasy residue which i wiped off and all good.

I may have to remove mine to confirm it its the same part.
I believe its part 2086700538.
Looking online its even more expensive than the quarter window seal
I pretty much confirmed without removing it, that i do need part 2086700538.
Either that or do some DIY job to cover it with something so my drivers side front window doesn't catch it when i put the window all the way down.
It also seems that the new quarter window seal i installed is shorter than the passenger side by about a quarter of an inch.

Yes. looks like you need items 35 and 38.
Here are some Google links I found for the part.

Last year I needed to replace a pothole damaged cracked wheel and found some 'pick and take yards', that I didn't know existed in my area, after searching for W208 convertibles at:

Scorded a OE wheel in perfect condition for $75 (vs. $225 to weld locally or buy a refurbished wheel), but not sure how successful you'll be able in removing or installing a rubber part that's 20 years old.
In regard to a DIY patch, Flex Seal makes liquid rubber in a can, rubberized waterproof tape tape etc..

I am travelling to Missouri next month for work and i found 2 salvage yards with w208 convertibles.
Its a take and save salvage so i need to personally remove the parts.
I called one and they said if just a seal it will be between $20-50.
