Wanted: Opinions on some body mods.
As most of you know, my car is in repair after a recent accident. I am considering putting a body kit on as insurance will be paying for a good chunk of it. I'm pretty set on the Lorinser DTM kit with black mesh (rather than silver). I am wavering on the fenders. After looking at WheelExpert's project car I have mixed feelings about the fenders. On the one hand, they are unique and definitely look over-the-top aggressive. On the other hand, they kill some of the lines of the CLK and seem a little out of place on a Mercedes. Feedback would be appreciated.

I think it looks amazing. Also I would only put a body kit on the car if you are going to do the whole thing. IF you are then def go with the fenders, I'm asumming you have to replace them anyway. I think it will make your car worty of the power you have. You will also be getting much more attention.

The fenders are definitely out. I just can't sell myself on them without seeing them in person. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the whole DTM kit (sans fenders) with black mesh. Just as a reminder, this is what my car used to look like:

I like them at certain angles (in the pictures), however, the biggest problem for me is that they distract me from focusing on the rest of the car. It's so hard to tell by looking at pictures. Kudos to you Lee2375 for going all out.
