auto button on ac!
w208 2000 clk430
the auto button on the unit is broken, it does not click when you push it.
when i took the button cover off i saw that the tension clip that makes it spring back snapped.
my question is can you just replace the button or do you have to replace the whole unit?
please help...how much does the unit cost?

CLK 320
I gotta admit that reading all of these problems with the W208 worry me, and make me think that getting a car without a solid, LONG warranty in the future might be even more worrisome...
My CLK has 2 years on it already, and I haven't experienced any of the problems that seem to be chronic to the car, from what I've read... the fuel gauge, the crankshaft position sensor, and now the buttons on the AC head unit. I can't say that I'm looking forward to any of it, but the more posts I read the more it looks like I'm in store for some bad stuff...
