Check Engine Light @ 52K Miles

Can anyone advise me on why my check engine light pops on and off periodically on my '00 430? It's driving me crazy. The car runs fantaastic, but this has become a major problem in my ability to enjoy the ride.

Used to be a CLK430
It could potentially be your gas cap malfunctioning. Does this happen in any correlation to when you refill your gas tank?

just loosen & retighten the cap securely, if its the problem, the light will go off after a few starts...

Just have your mechanic hook up the tester to the computer. That's why we have computers in our cars, they'll tell you what's wrong.
