My W208 had a small fire due to a rat issue from sitting too long. Long story short (pun intended) I am replacing the engine harness and the new harness I got (from a 2001 clk430) does not have the round plug for this sensor. I am wondering if i can just swap the sensor to the new kind and use the harness I bought.The sensor in question is at the rear of the engine, just below the intake. Does anyone know what it is?

I can't tell you what sensor that is from that pic, but I would think your best bet would be to pull the same sensor from another (known working) W208 (same year, same engine, same trim - if possible).
