I been around Benz's for years and do all my own work so DIY is no issue She's has to sell the car and told me make me an offer, limited parking where she lives and has insurance on it, wants it gone!
I've read up a lot on this model and they seem to be pretty reliable cars. and parts are fairly cheap. Car is registered and good till July 2020 What would be a good offer? I was thinking $1,800 to 2K.
I've never delt with a salvage title car, on the DMV website there are extra charges associated with a purchase and transfer, I need to call and give the vin number and see whats up with it and the cost.
You think so? Even though it's a friend, it was well taken care of, damage was to the rear, etc?
I'm curious how you come to that figure (just for curiosities sake).
Well she sold it on FB marketplace 2K, probably a good thing for me, I've never dealt with a salvage title, called the Ca. DMV to see if there's any hidden surprises on the car but due to the virus no one there to talk to, thanks for the input.
