creaks- rear suspension

After cold starts or car's been sitting for awhile. Putting from Park to Reverse/Drive, it creaks from rear suspension?
Is that mean I need to lube it? When i drive it a bit around, and I stopped and check it again, it does not make the noise no more.

Anyone have ever had this please help, my car has about 2500 miles left for manufacture warranty.

Has your car been lowered or had any suspension work? My guess is that your rear shocks are going out...

not real sure about the bushings used in these cars, but poly will creak if not lubed.

I'm still running on stock suspension with 18" wheels... Everytime I leave my car for 2+ hours and start it up. As i shift into Drive or Reverse, it creaks from rear suspension. Now I have 50k mile on my car with stock suspension..Is it shock, but why would shocks produce that noise though.

I need advice, maybe lowering would make it look nice and would get rid of the noise

Used to be a CLK430
My car does the same thing with the stock suspension, I actually thought it was the brakes slipping a bit on the rotor....maybe not.

If your car is lowered with lowering springs, the stock shocks will wear out faster than normal. That's why it has always been recomended to to upgrade your shocks when you upgrade your springs.

Most muffler/shock places give free estimates. Ask them to take a look at it to make sure it's not. Then while it's up there, get their opinion on what they think it is.
