2004 C320 4Matic, 1999 CLK 320
Battery Charge Light...loss of power steering, windows slow to put up..
hi all..changed the battery as it was almost time and thought it might solve the problem but all of these are happening at the same time:
  1. Charge Battery Light
  2. loss of power steering
  3. air conditioning not charging...
  4. Car started heat up as coolant temp topped 100
  5. Windows have to be "inched" up to close.
my assumption is the alternator? Anyone have experience with this...i have 1999 CLK320

Sounds like the belt is gone.
