Clk 320 Cold Intake!!
I bought it from MBKID, he is on the w202 c class forum
Its a custom Akimoto intake modified to fit the clk
I really was skeptical at first
BUT IT ADDS SO MUCH THROTTLE RESPONSE
and the NOISE is SO COOOLL!!
Check out a pic

i've just ordered the cone filter induction kit for my 320 from DEMON TWEEKS in the UK. Will it give me the same effect, i heard the sound is different too!!!
i'll have to customize the pipe and adapter though!!

If ur wondering how to connect it to the air sensor body, I used a 3" wide piece of neoprene tubing. its really strong and holds it fine. The piping i have is aluminum, pvc would work I assume, but wouldnt look as good. If you can get a black pvc to match the rest of the intake tubing that would be phat.
Lemme know if i can help u with anything on it.

thats exactly what i plan to do.. paint it black... although i would love to have the whole pipe aluminium color cause the shielder is aluminuim too!! hmmmmm....
anyways, can't wait to get it, should be here by monday. I'll let you know how it goes...
thanks again!

I'll see how good of a heat shield/intake I can make and see if possibly evo-sport wants to sell them. I've already made a unit for the audi TT and bmw e-36 series. After I get this one made I may start selling them on my web-site.

Yeah you can go on ebay and find an intake for a 3" hfm(tubing) and get a piece of silicone tubing to fit it on to your 3.5 air flow meter. I'm not selling these or nor did I make the one pictured I am thinking about making them in the future however.
just go look for 3" cone filter on ebay and see what you find or I'll post a link to one myself.

I could make one for 250 and send it to you. If anyone is near Asheville and wants to have the test subject clk 320(I have the 430) and I've already got one for the ml-320. Then it could be done pretty easily.
