Good day .Ladies and Gents . Scoured this forum and YouTube about radio swap. Bought the VW harnesses and anten na extension. Followed the wiring color code for speakers and power connects. Then found out about the cigarettes lighter trick, did it. Radio powers up , but NO sounds. Did I miss a step. FYI the factory radio would never accept the unlock codes. And i went straight 2 the dealership for that piece of information. Fuses good on amp and under hood. What might I have missed ?? Appreciate any input given.

Yep i have done all of that. My radio lights up plays c.d. but zero sound from radio or c.d.

Make sure you read the entire thread, because there are a couple different methods in there. If you're still having the same issue after that, LMK and I'll see what I can do to help.

I was 95 percent done with my install. When i reached out for help. Thank you kind sir (convicted) for replying and your guidance. Turns out i was wired in correctly to the amp start up wire. Figured and now i have tunes.. FYI the general info that comes with the harness misled me. Thanks again
