viper gts/ acr vs clk 430 kleeman?
ok fellas
last night homeboy bought a viper sweet looking car
super fast it has a v10 engine with 450 hp
the car fishtails on the second gear thats how fast it is
now
if i was to get a clk 430 put that kleeman supercharger on it will i beat him?
ps i'll try to take some pics this weekend to post it up

I've been thinking about this one for a while now... On the 0-60, I think the Viper would win. On the qtr-mile, I really don't know. I would have to actually race one to know. Anyone have a Viper? I do know that any guy with a Viper, who sees a CLK keeping up with him, would be impressed.
On the otherhand, a 55K would eat a Viper for breakfast.

I have a couple Vipers. Sub 12 second 1/4 mile runs are not uncommon with Vipers on street tires. I would guess it would be tough even for a CLK430K to keep up if the Viper driver doesn't miss their shifts.

i've riden in a viper RT callaway and i really really don't think the CLK55 kleeman has a chance! Bring on a porsche turbo, maybe... but not the viper!
i could be wrong!

The Kleemann definitely kicks ***. My CLK430 is putting out over 485 hp and 465 lb/ft of torque. Nevertheless, I don't see my car beating a new Viper. I have seen my car on the track easily hang (and on the street, in a pure straightline race, beat) a new Corvette Z06, but the new Vipers have a ridiculous amount of torque. I hope to close the gap with a full engine conversion. As for a Kleemann CLK55, I think it would be real close. The Kleemann CLK55 has run 12.4 consistently in the 1/4 mile with stock rims and tires. Even with my car, traction is the biggest limitiation. I'm planning on having fender work done so that I can go with much wider tires (than the 265/30/19's I have now) in the rear.
