Engine swap help!
I was trying to determine which engine would be a good donor for my 99’ clk320 (w208). I was thinking of upgrading to the clk450 ( or 430 forgive me I forget) powertrain. But I hear 450 owners are jumping ahead. the 5.0 off the c55. Anyone have recommendations

the C55 has a 5.5 lol but why not just go all in and grab a M113k, the 5.5 superchargered? When you get the 4.3 (from a CLK430) its the same block, just bored out by AMG. People say its a hard swap but so far on my W209 its been pretty straight forward. What's nice is that you don't need to swap oil pans if you get the engine from an S class, just remove the sway bar.
