Hi all. When driving my 2003 CLK320 W208 the other night, I noticed that the backlights for the CC display were not lit. All the other lights work and also the display but no backlights. The instrument cluster lights all work.I assume that the CC lights would be somehow connected to the cluster lights? Is there a separate fuse? Also the cigarette lighter and the light in the console under the armrest do not work either. Whilst poking around behind the radio and CC unit, I found this plug:



Does anyone know what this is for and could it be related to the issues I'm having? I haven't had this car long, so I'm still learning about it. My last car was a 91 SL500 which was a completely different animal.

all my buttons and controls work. just the backlighting doesn't come on. it comes on on the unit in the video.
