2002 clk 320

clk 320 third brake light lens

i have just had to buy my 2nd replacement brake light lens for my 2002 clk 320 The first one sort of popped on but kept coming loose until it just dropped off while I was a driving. So I bought a new one that is from the Mercedes dealer (and not cheap). And it looks exactly the same. And similar to the last one doesnt just "pop on" as it looks like it should or like it shows in some of the videos on line.

Anyone have any suggestions? I am thinking maybe superglue but that seems a little primitive :-(

Did you replace the whole tail-light assembly? The assembly is $120 new, and you could probably get one from a U-pull lot for $25. Do you have a picture of what you replaced?
