I have to share this one, a guy changed his CLK into the 'SLR look'

Now I think it is dog ugly, but check out the lower front body kit. This looks like the W209 CLK55 front. Has anyone seen this mod before?

I hate the hood, but i think that the bumper is the coolest one i've seen on a w208 yet. I just dont like the Carlsson or Lorinser setups for our cars (personal preference). Im guessing that this guy did a custom job and fit a w209 AMG bumper to the w208. I'd love to get that done, but it seems like it would be $$$$$$$$$. I may just go with the expressions bumper eventually...

I love the look of the front spoiler.
To have that on the w208, would definitely set it apart
from the standard one....with the outward design, from the
front it gives a more stable and agressive appearance than
the current clk320, clk430,clk55.
Does anyone know whether the w209 500 and 55 can
fit the w208? If it can....I would definitely consider it.
Never mind....I realize that it would not fit.
But it would definitely look great on the w208.
I wonder how much it would cost to have that made?

The front is absolutely ugly but the bumper is the original w209 AMG!!!! I like it very much....in my opinion is the best bumper ever to put on clk w208...what do you think??? I think it is not easy to mod it to fit but as we can see it is possible and looks reaaly perfect perfect.
That’s the original AMG w 209, not a copy….they made some mod but I’m sure it’s the original part….would be very interesting to know how difficult is it to obtain it buying a CLK AMG bumper. What do you think????
They found even gray rubber to put under the doors and side sill….really better looking for a silver car.

Anyone know if this guy has these bumpers for sale? My guess is taht it took two bumpers to make (a w208 and the w209). The moldings on the top are 208 (look on the inside of the headlights, part of the bumper is just painted black to make it look like its not there). I had been thinking about doing this, but buying one, even shipping it from Germany would be cheaper and easier i think. Maybe someone who speeks German well could talk to him about a group buy if enough of us are interested?
