Steering controls not working on OEM head unit replacement
Recently bought a 2002 CLK 430. It had an aftermarket radio installed and I bought an OEM Nav head unit to replace it. Everything on the head unit works great except for a few things:
The steering wheel controls aren't working - not sure if this is due to a missing wire harness or something else. I will attach an image of the back on the unit.
The head unit doesn't turn on or off with the car - must do it manually with the power button. Is that the correct function of the Nav unit?
The head unit auto turns off after about an hour - It might not know the car is on? Wondering if this is also a wiring issue
Appreciate any info or advice on this! Thanks This was the only harness there after taking out the aftermarket unit
