230K operating temp?

Hi guys!

Been reading this forum for a while now, but just picked up a 2000 CLK 230K yesterday

Just one little query, what is te normal operating temperature? I've noticed that when its warmed up it sits at the 80 mark, though when parked and at idle it creeps up to 100, then after driving again it slowly goes back towards 80. Is this normal?

Thumbs up

That is very normal . Infact ,your car temp is lower than mine . Mine never go down to 80. My temp is from 90-100 . ALL CLKs temp differs from 80 to 100. it depends on where you live and where you drive "highway or city" . Do not worry . you will be fine

CLK 230 Kompressor
Same here. Got the 98 230K.
I think the kompressor does run a bit hotter than most other normally aspirated engines.
