windows don't shut smoothly
Hello there,
I've got a brand new clk for few weeks and I've very little things to complain about. One of these is the windows: both passenger and driver windows have troubles when shutting especially if the rubber seals on the side of the door aren't dry. I wonder if is just a matter of time before this issue is over or if is the case to escalate the problem to the dealer. Any of you experienced anything like this?
Thanks

Windows
I find that frequent cleaning of both the inside and outside makes the windows travel more smoothly. Otherwise they make a loud squeaking noise.

Change the control unit. The problem is electrical - not mechanical. The window should slide down about one inch when you open the door and then slide back up when you close the door. Do not waist your time with other fixes. The windows should go up very smoothly regardless of the weather. They have not been designed to chatter.
Good luck with the dealer...
