Slow Moonroof... 2000 CLK
Hello All,
I don't use my moonroof alot, but when I do, I always have to hold for a long time, before it is fully opened. I was just wondering if it is like that on all CLK's?
I took a stopwatch to see how long it is, and it takes 10 secs for it to completely open. This seems like a long time, especially when you are driving.
It also seems as though the sunroof motor is struggling to open it.

Yeh i have the same problem, the dealer told me i need to replace the whole thing because the motors are dying. I find it cheaper to just not use the moonroof. You may want to get a flash light to see if there is some debris back there blocking the tracks.
