I'm 24 driving a '01 clk320. Thanks to all the hackers out there I can call myself a "security consultant" and make a decent income.

I hear ya...I'm 28 and I'm leasing my 99 CLK430. Couldn't afford it any other way. How are all these 18 and 19 year olds doing it? I must be doing something wrong. I better marry a rich woman!!

like i posted before i'm 19 drive a 02 C32. my sister is 23, drives a 2000 CLK320, my brother is 27 drives 97 528i and it will soon be an M5.
our parents bought us the car because they feel we will be safer in a MB or BMW or any Euro car as matter of fact. my dad was a individual car importer in Taiwan for 20 some years, so he knows what is good for us.
my parents gave us some choices like C-class or 3-series or A4 or X-type for me, CLK or SLK or Boxster for my sister, and 5-series or E-class or A6 or S-type for my brother.
my parents offer each of us two cars. i already used up my first one when i crashed my 2000 328CI last year. the C32 is my second car. my brother is still picking his second car, most likely it will be the M5. actually that is going to be my bro's third car. his first car was a red Civic back in Taiwan. as for my sister, she will probably trade in her 2000 CLK320 for a new CLK500 or something as her second car.
i'm very thankful that my parents treat us the way they do. hopefully i will be able to give them something in return in the future.
BTW my dad is considering trading his 96 XJ-12 for a S500.

oh well even though i didnt get any fancy cars from my parents, im happy with what my parent gave me

In fact, I'm only 19 and my parents are helping me out...I don't see nothing wrong if you take care of the car and don't take it for granted. I'm just saying that MOST of the kids our age get help from our parents, but NOT everyone...

not surprised at all the teenage mb'ers, how many of y'all asian? i'll bet a lot of you. i'm 23 w/E55. I financed an s4 with my current job, but my mom flipped out when she heard i bought an audi so she made me get a merc. on and on and on about how i would regret buying and audi, cheap car, blah blah. chinese mother, go figure (at least in my opinion).
