Heated windscreen washers -- standard?

Had to fill up the windscreen washer bottle in the wife's CLK 320 today. First thing I noticed was that it's huge, followed by "surely this isn't the washer bottle -- there's loads of pipes and cables coming out of it". Some pipes appear from underneath the engine cover, and disappear into the bottle. Peering down inside it, one of them becomes helical inside the washer bottle. So obviously this is piping the coolant circuit through the washer bottle to heat the washer fluid. Is this standard on the CLK, or has a previous owner specified this as an option?

Cool
Ours looks just like yours, except we don't have the AMG wheels.
