My car came with Continental ContiTouring Contact CH95 (205/55/R16). Tirerack has them listed as 13th in their category. The Bridgestone Turanza LS-Z is listed as #1. I live in Northern New Jersey so I need some good all weather tires (Unfortunately I don't have the space to store snow tires in the summer). Any suggestions?
Also, I've noticed the front passenger tire is significantly more worn than any other. Is this something I should have the dealer investigate prior to investing in new tires.

NO Way.....The continentals contact sport SUCK
I suggestion is to upgrade the rims if you haven't already, b/c since your buying new tires...why not add a 1k or 2 and get new rims at the same time. Otherwise, if you wish to stay stock...i put the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred on my stock rims...and I LOVE THEM, except on for the noise...for 16inch rims with these tires...they sound like my 19's with my low profile tires on. But besides the noise, they are great in wet and dry.

I'm selling a set on ebay, tires with rims. Came off my 2005 clk, 1 week old less than 20 miles on those tires so its pretty much brand new. The price is just about the same as getting new tires. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&rd=1&tc=photo

I started out with the Pirelli's that got changed out in a bad effort to cure the "pulling right" issue. They put Michelin Pilot Sports on and while they are a nice aggresive looking tire they sound like you are driving a tank. I would never buy them again.

I'm about to order new spring/summer tires (I go with snow tires in the winter up here), and I was going to replace the Contis with Bridgestone Potenzas, but have discovered the Kumho KH11's. They get real good reviews on the Tirerack's site, and they're about 2/3s the price of everything else. Any opinions on these? Next winter I'll need to replace the Blizzak snowtires, and I'm leaning toward Nokian, but now I discover they make highly regarded regular tires - anyone have any experience with these?

C'mon people, STARR is looking for ALL SEASON!! Not performance/summer tires. I am in the same boat, I have the ps2s on my car and so far I have avoided the last few snow storms. The Kumho Ecsta ASX looks to be a decent all season and has recieved good reviews. They are around 110/tire. I'm gonna tough it out till next winter.

I talked to Luke the forum's tire rack person and after asking some questions about driving style, weather conditions etc. he recommended the Yokohama Avid V4S.

your welcome and thanks for the info. I'm still debating if I want to go with an actual snow or all season. I don't want to swap tires and risk scratching the rims.

I am one who uses all-season tires for summer use only. I have a set of Pirelli 210 dedicated for winter use.
I opted for all-season tires because of my driving style. Since I'm not an aggressive driver, I have no need for max performance tires. I prefer better ride comfort and longer tread wear and still maintain decent performance.
After some research, I went for the Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S.
