AMG exhaust Upgrade
Has any done the twin pipe amg upgrade to the W209 CLk500? I am looking into the upgrade and was wondering do I need a complete new bumper or can i just swap out the black plastic piece and do a lil bit of bumper modification? Any suggestions?

dont think you would need a whole new bumper just so it will fit your exhaust. The amg exhaust is like a dual oval shape pipe. If you look at the clk amgs with ours, the amgs have pretty much the same rear bumper except the cut of it for the exhaust is wider than ours. Our stock exhaust is also kinda dual piped with a bigger oval casing around both the pipes. So I think you would need to trim the rear bumper to have a more wider opening for the exhaust only.

How many parts are required to fit the quad? Is it primarily the spare tire support/liner under the trunk or are there a bunch of other parts that would need to be replaced as well?

Christian, you can just take your car to a bodyshop and ask them to trim down the exhaust cutouts. Or you can get a Dremel and trim it yourself.

Not to go too OT, but I was actually thinking about just buying that Brabus rear bumper so that I have a matching rear bumper (getting it cut for the new pipe before paint and install) and another Eisenmann (which I'd have my muffler guy cut and reweld to make symmetrical). Here's my PS'd pic (with my AMG bumper) that I was messing around with from the other day for perspective:
