I don't know if any MB dealers frequent this forum or if anyone knows this...but can someone post a list of the available options for the CLKs? My understanding is that MBUSA.com does not list all the available options (and colors). Thanks

BTW: It seems the new E class has more to offer in terms of options than the new CLK (i'd love those ventilated seats on the CLK )

Yes, does anyone else have an opinion on whether the next E-class is perhaps not a better car/ buy than the clk??

Thanks once again LeroyC...very helpful info.

BTW. my dealer told me yesterday that they are going to Atlanta in July to drive the new CLKs and Es (I would assume some sort of salesman training thing?) and that their first shipments should be arriving in September. larger dealers in the northeast and cali area may be getting them before (like end july/august) as others have written. he said he would call as soon as the prices are released.

I see that they offer a 6-disc CD changer with the Motorola V60 phone, but that's like a $1500 option. Being that I've got a cellphone already, do you guys know if I would be able to get a 6-disc changer w/out the phone? I'm getting the COMMAND system, and I'm under the impression that it only takes 1 CD.

That's right, COMMAND only takes one CD. However, the radio is prewired for the changer and it can be added by the dealer for about $800.

Yeah i don't care to get ripped off by the dealer with their crazy price for their phone or cd-changer. i will work the channel to get my cd-changer at cost. I think they should pass some deals on to people when you spend this much. Make the damn Cd-changer standard.
