Comand repairs in the UK.......
Hi all,
anybody here know where I can get a Comand 2.0 unit fixed - in particular it needs a new CD drive - if you know anywhere in the UK please let me know - cheers all.

I think that braybrooks may be able to help or theres a retro fitting firm in east london.

MBSteve said he cant as its a CD drive I need and he already has loads of his own that need drives!
Braybrooks can help but want me to take the unit to them and they are about 200 miles away - but that company in East Lodon you said of sounds promising - where are they and who they?

The drive reads music cd's ok and actually sees the NAVI disc as a CD rom but will not actually read the disc at all - it says its going to activate navigation but then sits there forever

Hmm now I am confused-didnt you say on another part of this board that you bought the unit through Braybrooks??

you are correct I did - thst ain my CLK 200 K - I also have a CLK 240 and its in this that ive just put a Comand unit that I got from germany - but as above it has problems actually working
