got rid of my 05 C230 WZ, and picked up a
05 CLK320 (Cadet Blue/W Ash)
sunroof package
lighting package
heated seats

I got the dealer to tint the windows, tommorow I need to take it in and swap the CLK 320 Primacy's with the C230 Sport A/S's .

I will post pics once I get a powercord to charge my digicam's battery.

So how many Cadet Blue CLK's do we have on this forum ?

i have one, 3 others that i know of....congrats on the car its a knock-out...shouldve went with the stone interior though!...please post pics after tint is done i want to do the same (what % did you get?)

Actually the car was tinted when I picked it up. I would suggest going with a very light shade for tint, becuase that really makes the Cadet blue stand out. I need them to replace the back tint becuase they kind of messed it up, there is a weird spot which is causing a blur when I look out through the rear view mirror.

I think the other two CLK cadets are also stone. Stone is a nice color.

The car is great, for some reason I felt the 05 C's sound system was better, any other people observed this.

i actually had an 05 c-class loaner....it had the harmon/kardon, it seemed on par but for some reason i like my bose system better in the clk....sometimes the bass can seem a bit low but when its there its a great clean bass not too thumpy.....but to each their own of course.... do mind posting a pic of your car? im thinking of doing 35% tint does that sound right?

I just realized that the background light for the switch that has light controls seems to be gone, I need to ask them to replace it,

As far as the tint goes, it says product: S35, So I am assuming it s 35% made by 3M and a non-reflective tint.

I will try to post some pictures tommorow.

35% sounds safe i will pass by the tinter this weekend to see what they have for me, i have navi so i hope it does not interfere with the antenna (they told me last tiem they would do a test before they put the tint on to make sure theres no interference

not yet, after seeing this i will head down to my local place to get them done!! are those 35%?? also how long do you have to wait before driving the car? and did they put the felt lining that will prevent scratching?

I am not sure what feltlining is. Yes it is a 35% tint, The dealer finished the tint on Thursday I picked up the car on Monday so it had a long time to dry.

lets hope mine comes out as nice...im gonna do it this friday and leave it there for the weekend.... overall what is your opinion on your car with the tints cracker123?

I really like the car, it is very smoothe, I like the speed sensitive steering. I am happy I got this car over a C320 sport. One thing I always get about this car is "Nice Color", I am trying to upgrade the analog climate control to a digital one, and also add a blur wood strip to the glove box handle. Post some pictures of your car once the tint is done.

ill make sure of it to post those pics.......the extra wood on the glove box is nice ....but what do you mean by analog climate control? can u post a pic of that?
